Paris 1940. The famous Ritz Hotel is the backdrop for American artist Philip Weber (Perry King - The Day After Tomorrow), who becomes trapped in the crossfire of World War II. Philip is a long-time resident of the hotel and when the Nazis seize Paris and move into the Ritz, he tries to remain neutral - but his elegant haven becomes a seething nest of spies and disinformers. Absolutely nothing is what it seems and one "guest," Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering (Joss Ackland - K-19: The Widowmaker), intimidates Philip into helping him acquire Europe's most valuable art treasures. As Philip witnesses his friends' homes invaded and their lives threatened, he treads a fine line of loyalty, secrets, mystery and treachery - until he discovers that life is only worth living if you are willing to die for it.
